These are dinucleotides where the two bases are connected via a (5'-&gt;5')-phosphodiester linkage. Nadhh exists as a solid, possibly soluble (in water), and a strong basic compound (based on its pKa) molecule. Nadhh exists in all living species, ranging from bacteria to humans. In cattle, nadhh is involved in the metabolic pathway called cancer (via the Warburg effect).</description>
